A team of professionals to provide the most effective coaching
Carol Christmas, Jenny Durnell and Linda Neal

Carol Christmas
BSc MBA Member of Association for Coaching UK
Following a degree in Psychology, I enjoyed a successful career in the public sector in a variety of jobs, each requiring project management skills and an understanding of individual motivation and behaviour.  I am a qualified life coach and NLP Master Practitioner, with 10 years' experience of coaching private clients.  In 2000, I set up a charity providing coaching to carers of cancer patients.  During a 5-year pilot pilot we demonstrated the benefits of coaching to people while caring or when re-building their lives after a period of caring.  I am currently working part-time for Gloucester Diocese, while developing a model for coaching aspiring and new headteachers in Primary Schools.  My coaching can cover all aspects of a client's life, as required. I focus initially on a client's values and beliefs, as expressed by language and behaviour, so that they can align their future with their core values - the best way to achieve satisfaction and sustainability.  I operate in line with AC guidelines and ethics.

Jenny Durnell  MCIPD Association for Coaching UK
I am a qualified HR professional specialising in career and executive coaching.  During my career I have worked within a diverse range of organisational cultures, including the civil service, local government, NHS and private sector.  After more than 7 years as a Senior HR Manager for a special health authority, I set up my own independent consultancy in 2002.  The focus of my work is to coach individuals to become more self aware, motivated and effective in their roles.  I offer practical help and support to individuals facing career changes, early retirement or redundancy, including personality and psychometric profiling if appropriate.   My approach is pro-active; solution oriented, and time limited, encouraging individuals to focus on the future, clarify outcomes and take action.  Alongside my work I act as a mentor for the “Year in Industry Scheme” supporting young people who are making a transition from school to work prior to going to University.  I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching UK, and operate in line with their guidelines and ethics.

Linda Neal
MA (Cantab) MPhil DipCMP FRSA Association for Coaching UK
I am an executive coach specialising in transition issues. I work with leaders and their teams, building capacity to meet current and future challenges. My approach is based in positive psychology, enabling clients to create an achievable action plan congruent with their personal and professional values. My professional background includes 13 years as a secondary headteacher in London where I led two very different schools through transformational change. I have also worked at senior levels in a local authority, the civil service and the private sector, and at Board level with the National College and SHA (now ASCL). Alongside my work as a professional coach, I have recently completed a postgraduate diploma in coaching and mentoring practice from Oxford Brookes University, where I am currently researching for the Doctorate of Coaching and Mentoring with a focus on coaching and mentoring for secondary school headteachers. I have also developed a coaching model for newly appointed Church of England Academy Principals. I am a member of the Association for Coaching and of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, to whose ethical standards I work.
